BRITS AND BEYOND – MY PLACE TO REST
By Claudia Lancina
I live with my sister and my parents in a big flat situated in front of the park “Torremendoza” in Huesca, my flat is on the fifth floor.
Our flat has a total of eight rooms.
The hall is narrow and long like a snake, it also has a long wooden radiator on the right side. The kitchen is cozy and quite sunny with a large table to eat and a very small gallery to hang clothes. The dining room is the biggest room in the house, it’s quite sunny too and very spacious.
It has two bathrooms, there’s one small and with a shower and the other is bigger but it has a bath. My room is the third largest on the flat, it has a long wooden table, I would spend millions of years in there listening to music with nobody annoying me. The room of my sister is smaller but sunnier than mine, she has a lot of toys but she almost never uses them. The room of my parents has a king size bed and is very spacious and comfortable; they have beautiful curtains too. The last one, the study, it is cozy too and it looks like a library, there is a red comfortable armchair and next to it’s the computer, it has two tables, one large and one square and spacious, my father spends hours and hours reading in there.
In my flat, sometimes I feel a little bit sad, but other times I feel very happy. When I have exams I feel with anxiety but when I finish them I feel very peaceful.
