BRITS AND BEYOND: SCIENCE FAIR WINNERS!

First, I woke up at 6 a.m. to get ready. Then, at 7 a.m., I left home to go to the station. We caught the train at 7:30 a.m. and arrived around 8:40 a.m. We then took a taxi to the venue.

We arrived around 9 a.m. We practiced the presentation and then we were given a tour of the site.

After the tour, we had lunch and then presented the exhibition.

Afterward, we did an experiment extracting DNA from a fruit.

Finally, the awards were presented. I was so nervous and happy at the same moment when I presented the project and when they gave us the award. (By Ángela Xie)

When we were chosen to go to the Aragon championship, I thought that we’d have a good time and not win anything. At the awards ceremony, we thought that we`d win the environment award but when they didn’t name us we lost all our hopes and we were ready to run to the taxi when they said, «IES Sierra de Guara». (By Eva Ollés)
